This section introduces how to export and import the
Ramdisk Configurations. Ramdisk Configurations refer to the settings
information of all created ramdisks. Please note it doesn't include IM settings or language settings.
With "Export" and "Import" function, users can easily transfer the
current ramdisks' settings from one computer to another computer, or
save/restore the settings.
Export the Ramdisk Set Configurations Go to the Options Tab, clicking "Export All Ramdisks" button. Enter a file name in the popped-up "Save
As" dialog box and click "Save" button. Then the current Ramdisk
Configurations will be saved to the file. For eg. Assuming two ramdisks
have been created, then these two ramdisks' settings, such as disk
size, file system, will be saved to the Ramdisk Configurations file.
Import the Ramdisk Set Configurations Go to the Options Tab, clicking "Import All Ramdisks" button. A warning message shall shows as below.
It is recommended that importing the Ramdisk Configurations only
when no ramdisk have been created, otherwise the current
settings of the ramdisks may be overwritten. Click
"Yes" to continue and select the Ramdisk Configurations file which is
exported before in the popped-up "Open" dialog box. Click "Open"
to import the configurations. If successfully, a
message as below shows. User needs to restart the computer to take
effect and the ramdisks described in the Configuration file will be
created.
