CorelDraw Essentials 2 won't start with Vsuite ramdisk (1.8 free) on a restricted user account
but it does with Gavotte ramdisk (4096.5).
When i start CorelDraw Essentials 2 on a restricted user account on XP-Home32-SP3 having gavotte ramdisk istalled
it starts up well.
With Vsuite Ramdisk free 1.8 it only creates an empty error message box and quits.
Here my (very special) configuration:
Athlon II-280, 4GB-DDR3-1333
Win XP-Home(32b)-SP3, CorelDraw Essential 2
Upper 1GB as ramdisk using /PAE (works perfect with both ramdisks).
TEMP and SWAP(512MB), printer-spooler-directory and WBEM in the ramdisk.
Any info missing?
thanks for any idea

Re: CorelDraw Essential 2 won't start with Vsuite ramdisk
Hi,
Is the file system of the ramdisk NTFS? If so, I think you might try the FAT32. The problem might be caused by the restricted user account and the NTFS access permission. If you insist NTFS, you might try the Standard Edition of VSuite Ramdisk which allow you to define the permission. please refer to

Hope it helps.

That's been the solution! Using FAT32 works without problem.
Thank you very much.
