Initializing a large ramdisk (16GB) takes unreasonably long

When I configure a RAMDISK with disk size 16834MB, as SCSI disk, with an Image file on C-drive and Real-Time save, Direct Mirror (only option) and Quick Load Mode checked it takes 12 minutes for the 16GB disk file to be created.
In comparison, just copying the file with Windows takes 60 seconds, and creating the file and filling it with zeroes takes a few seconds.
It's only a minor nuisance, but the screen doesn't tell me how long it will take and I'm under the impression that it could be created much faster. I use VSuite Ramdisk Server Edition (evaluating it).
