Hallo,
another note about Windows 8 and (important for the new) Windows 10, when you running PRIMOCACHE with Defer-Write:
If you should notice that the PC receives performance problems, it is enough if you turn off Defer-Write in PRIMO CACHE or use a very low value there. Problems with PRIMO CACHE (which i could see in Test on different PCs) related to the Defer-Write.
To use a L2-Storage, i suggest the "Read-data only" strategy. Because i also noticed some delays with "Read-data and Write-Data" on my Desktop PC. For example: a restart of Windows took a long time with "write-Data" on my Win10-PC.
Of course, These small issues must not happen everywhere, but maybe i can help some users if they should noticed similar Problems under Windows 10. I could also imagine that this behavior is caused by other programs in the background. How does a defrag program acts in the background with the cache?....
My cache hit rate is otherwise super with PRIMOCACHE! 80%
Greetings
