Feature Request: Cache schedule

1. Allow cache pause for a period specified in advance.
In my case, I used to backup the database in scheduled so it's cache statistic is not corect and make perfomance huge decresing.
2. Allow reading ahead a number of blocks
3. Improved algorithms typically read data, such as create map of blocks often read together
