When I try to format my SSD to create a level 2 storage volume I get the error message "Failed to format this volume to level-2 storage!" I have removed all other caching and restarted my system, I have reformatted the SSD and even deleted and recreated the partition. The only the thing I have not done is not re-install primoCache.
My system setup is:
Win 8 x64
12GB RAM.
3TB drive spilt 2TB C:, 1TB Storge
2x320GB in Raid 1 Storage.
2 250GB HDDs not partioned
1 x 120GB SSD.
All of the Discs are basic and the only Raid drive is the 2x320's that I am not trying to cache. I want to set-up the 120GB SSD and 3GB Ram As lvl 2 / lvl 1 cache storage for teh 2TB C: Drive, level 1 cache works with out problems.
Has any one seen any thing about this.
Failed to format this volume to level-2 storage! Topic is solved
Re: Failed to format this volume to level-2 storage!
Is this SSD a MBR disk? GPT style is not supported so far.
Re: Failed to format this volume to level-2 storage!
I killed the partitions again and right clicking on the empty drive gave me the convert to MBR option I guess I had set them up as GPT at some point.
Thanks for the pointer, cache set up and running
