Hi Hirorin,

I'd appreciate it if you can tell us more details about this issue. What's your Windows OS and your ramdisk settings? How you use the ramdisk? Did you use it on a cluster server?

Thanks.

OS is Windows7 professional.
Ramdisk settings is DirectーIO and Dynamic Memory Management has set in compact mode.
Save is set to Smart image mode.
On the cluster server is not used.

Can you run "chkdsk" to see if there is any error?

And I find this article, just for your reference.

Thanks.

"chkdsk" is but I tried to have the same error condition occurs when the PC still starting.
What I do not have to worry about even though it was just an error, in fact, is so not a problem.

Thank you.

Cause of the error was found out.

An error occurs when saving the image to a disk that is connected to an external chip, such as Marvell.

We will be saving the image to there it's not a problem that it is saved to disk by connecting chipset.

Sorry to reply on an older thread, but I'm seeing the exact same issue, with a key difference: the image file for my ramdisk is being saved to an HDD drive connected to the Intel Chipset. Here are my settings:

Code: Select all

Basic settings:
	Disk size: 1024 MB
	Disk type: Direct-IO
	Drive letter assigned: X
	One-time disk: No

Substance settings:
	Memory size: 1024 MB
	Memory features: -
	Drive file size: 0 MB
	Drive file name: -

File system settings:
	File system: NTFS
	Cluster size: Default
	Volume label: Temp
	NTFS compression: No
	NTFS indexing: No
	Create "TEMP" folder: No

File system advanced settings:
	Custom folders:
		IE
		TempiNet
		Cookies
		UserTemp
		SysTemp
		IECompatCache
		IETldCache
		PrivacIE
		History
	Volume serial number: -
	Account "Everyone" permission: -

Image settings:
	Enable image file: Yes
	Image file name: S:\tempramdisk.vdf
	Load/Save functions: Load & save
	Delay Load mode: No
	Load in background: No
	Image format: Plain image
When to save: Save at shutdown
	Quick Save mode: Yes
	Backup automatically: No
This happens on every shutdown. My primary drive is a Sandisk SSD. Being used on a Windows 7 x64 machine for IE Temp files, and soon the system temp folders (but not currently). Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! :D
