Hi,
Do you guys have instructions on how to create a Ram disk using the hidden memory on Windows XP? I have a little over 4 gigs of memory and since its 32bit it only shows 3.25gb of ram. I installed the free version of the application and was hoping for some guidance.
Thanks

Re: Windows XP How to Create Ram Disk to Use Hidden Ram
Welcome to the forum Cloves,
There is no free version of Primo Ramdisk (though all versions allow an evaluation period). The only free product is the older VSuite Ramdisk Free Edition.
For any version (of both Vsuite and Primo ramdisks) there should be a setting to enable Invisible Memory which you have to enable first. This may not work on all systems (and if it doesn't it may hang) and you must have PAE enabled in your boot.ini file (see Microsoft: Large memory support... for details) for it to work.
Once Invisible Memory is working you should be able to use the 3.25-4GB part of your memory address space for a ramdisk (and, potentially, up to 127GB depending on the ramdisk version).
