Hey there,
was just wondering... /subst in CMD simulates a partition for a usual folder, like C:/Program Files/Age of Empires 2/
First I thought... if this would enable me to cache only certain folders, and not everything, it would make Fancy Cache way more powerful.
Than I thought... Caching when used is one thing, the other thing is caching BEFORE used. Of Course, it's not possible to cache a whole partition... only if the partition is just a folder, small enough to be completely cached.
What I mean is - a feature to manually cache all the content of a whole folder, before it is used. Like... "I am going to use Photoshop in a few Minutes - let's cache it right before!".
Think about it... could be great
CMD /subst - cache all ?
Re: CMD /subst - cache all ?
Hi PrinceVan,
Thank you. However CMD /subst cannot make FancyCache cache for specified folders

Create separate partition, and move games to it, and cache it. But any way it is not very useful.
