hello
i am new to primocache and heard a lot of good stuff about it.
so i installed it on a windows server running on amd ryzen 9 5950x cpu, 128GB RAM, 500gb samsung nvme drive and 1tb samsung ssd drive.
i just set it with the default settings after playing with it for a while, but i cant notice any difference rather than the server's ram is always in high use. no performance improvement that i can feel.
i guess i need to set it up properly but i find it a bit confusing...
that's my current setting. on drive c it shows 24% cache hit ratio and on D it shows 48% cache hit ration
thank you !

Re: best settings for amd ryzen 5950x server
As your drives are nvme SSDs which already have fast read/write speed. So the performance improvement may not be noticeable without a lot of data access. Besides your current configuration is only in terms of read performance. If you want to improve the read performance, you has to enable the Defer-Write. For more details about Defer-Write, please see
