Dynamic RAM Copy & Delete
Dynamic RAM Copy & Delete
When I copy data to the Dynamic RAM - let's say 400 MB and delete the file and copy another 400 MB to the now empty disk the memory used is now 800 MB. So every file is added as if no file was deleted. This under Win7 32. Is there any way to avoid this? I do not want to use Clear Content every time but my files are in the GB range.
Re: Dynamic RAM Copy & Delete
Hi,
the "delete file" operation is not actually to destroy the data in the disk. It just marks the file flag "deleted". As for ramdisk, it is very difficult to get to know which part of data shall be released. Currently we use "Clear Content" as a temporary workaround. We will update it if we can find a better way.
