PrimoCache and build 15063

Post by andrujka »

PrimoCache version: 2.7.0
Cache Settings: N/A
Windows OS:Win10, build 15063
Hardware Information (CPU/Motherboard/Memory/Harddisks):Surface Pro4
Description:Did a clean install of build 15063, installed PrimoCache 2.7.0.
After restart, windows does not load anymore, safe mode fails to load as well, no way to "fix" the install unless i reinstall windows.
Reviewing the log i see this part of logs:
Root cause found:
Boot critical file C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\rxfcv.sys is corrupted
Boot critical file C:\RXBSKNL.SYS is corrupted

Any ideas?
Thanks,

I just did an upgrade to Creation Update from Anniversary and didn't encounter any issue. Primocache already have cache data with write deferred enable.

I can confirm the problem on my Lenovo ThinkPad too after a clean install. Only way to solve it was to disable secure boot in bios

Ha, didn't thought to disable secure boot. Too bad for the 3 re-installs i did :D

Would be great to have a fix that doesnt require disabling it though...
