Ramdisk disappears upon reboot

Post by jsiripra »

Hi all, I did a search in the forums and didn't come up with anything. my issue is fairly simple, my ramdisk disappears upon reboot in Windows 10. I always have to recreate it. have reinstalled Primo Ramdisk several times, no dice. any pointers would be appreciated!

In order to have the Ram Disk mount at boot time, you have to associate it with a .vdf file which holds the disk contents. It's in the Disk Configuration area under "Backing Image". You'll want to have Primo Ram Disk save the image at shutdown so it will mount with the same contents (Image settings, Save at Shutdown).
