Using the memory that Windows can't use

Post by Zero3K »

Is it possible to do that? (my computer has 4 GBs, but since I'm using the 32-bit version of Windows 7, I can only use 3 GBs)

yes, can.
please refer to http://www.romexsoftware.com/main/suppo ... g-ram.html

but currently we support win2000-2003 (all 32-bit) only.
we are still developing and testing vista and windows7 support.

So far, its working nicely on Windows 7. When I enable the "Enable OS Invisible Physical Memory" option, it states that I have 0 MB of it available when I should have 956 MB.

Hmm, maybe a "partiton" style graphic could be used to select the portion of RAM that it should use when making a RAM Disk. That or have an option to choose where the RAM Disk should start at.

Yes, this feature will make user have a clear view on where RAM is allocated.
But because we now have other important features need to be implemented. We think this one is in low priority...
Anyway, thanks for you advice.

You can implement that or get the OS IM function to work on Windows Vista/7.
