Re: What the people are asking for + a few others.
Pooling memory with a min/max would be good, so all drives can share from the same pool. As it is now, I give about 16GB of a 24GB system to FC, but that is 8GB to one drive, 7GB to another, and 1GB to the system drive. When I launch something big like a VM, I have to reconfigure FC to use less. A ...

Re: worst performance with Fc vs without when data not in ca
Thanks for the information. We'll check the performance in the virtual PCs later. Note: Use only 4GB of ram if you do with only 1GB or less of it for fancycache. I remember seeing this happen on my older system. R/W would slow Read and Write down. Read only would only boost Read. Write Only would b...

Re: repopulate/proactive level 1 cache
Support, I think he means the cache statics that is created when FC priorities the data for what is used the most. Think Algorithm: LRU and LFU. Atm, FC "seems" to recreate cache statics every reboot instead of reloading what was used before. I guess you can look at this good or bad. Thank...

Re: Recommended cache settings for 2TB HDD
Yes and no. Most of what you are wanting from this only increase with having a better cpu than faster access to the hard drive it self. At least with encoding, mathematical, and your Logic programming. Most of them can be increased with better ram (DDR 2400 for example) and better cpu (intel just re...

Re: Compatible with expresscache?
No there would not be far as I know. Long as it shows up as a drive. FC doesn't really care what it is You can't increase "boot" times all that much as 70% of the wait is usally from the IO checking and not the loading of the OS usally. Even if you did, you would still have to raid the dat...

Re: USB WiFi adapter does not connect automatically
Seem like a common problem from what I been seeing around. Not really Fancycache fault for say other than it could be delaying your AV/Firewall witch means it is delaying you from getting a IP from the DHCP host/server - if this is true. Let me ask a few questions: 1) What AV are you using? 2) Are y...

Yes. I think I need to do a better example of what was being ask for it.PtDragon wrote:Dynamic pool sounds good (hope there will be option to configure limits, not only priority).
Update V#: [0.8.0].[2] ^^
Did a better example of what I mean for number two of the list.

Re: USB WiFi adapter does not connect automatically
Well it could be a issue with fancycache, but the error it self is just saying this: You cannot connected to your network because someone has this IP and your server only allows x amount of PC on the network. Please wait untill there is more free IP to use. This sound like another pc is comming in a...
