could be, but the 99% of the ramdrive uses, require to go to the created device. In fact it is the same that the windows do when we insert a new drive in the system. let me suggest another one. When we create a new ramdisk could be very interesting if we obtain a window explorer pointing to the created ramdisk. Something as the autorun.inf to go directly to the created unit.

i have another suggestion.
when we setup a new ramdisk, we could set a checkbos that will save the ramdisk content automatically when we use the 'remove' button.

4 GB Ram DDR400
Ramdisk settings set ramdisk to store the pagefile.sys in the os boot.
No image file to save because the whole temp folder and pagefile.sys are in the non persistent ramdisk.

Bsod because pagefile.sys
i have the pagefile.sys placed in the ramdisk. So sometime when shutdown the pc, i obtain a Bsod stop 0x000000FA 'kernel data inpage error'. I think this error means or happends because the os cant access the pagefile.sys and the the bsod happends. anyways the bsond appears randomly. can someone ima...

Of course two new settings can be added to work with this 'feature'. 1 - Save all time backup 2 - Safe backup until shut down (that generates a backup an delete it when the whole ramdisk was saved) The second setting can be used to only use backup while the full shut down was not completed. under certain conditions the 'save ramdisk on shutdown' can be break by a system bsod.
in this case the things saved on the ramdisk image file are altered and nos valid.
i want to suggest a feature to hold a backup image file while saving during the shutdown.
what you think about ?
