Re: What the people are asking for + a few others.
Just bought a ocz synapse 128GB... too bad fancycache didn't come out with their persistent cache first... could have saved some money and just bought a solution from them (I've been waiting for over a year...), the market is there... However... I had a theory that an ssd should hold all small files...

Re: Windows 7 Double Caching
Does windows 7 save the cached information during hibernation and/or suspend?
I was relying on windows 7 caching until I realized, that maybe it doesn't bother hibernating the cached data. Damn, why can't MS just buy fancycache.

Re: Windows 7 Double Caching
Yeah, I was afraid of all that. I guess a solution would be to disable windows caching and just use fancycache. I dislike eboostr tremendously. I don't like the way it caches and it will only cache the 1st partition amongst multiple partitions (I have my docs on one partition, programs on another, e...

Windows 7 Double Caching
So... windows 7 does some caching of it's own, it will use all your available ram to cache stuff... So? Should I even bother with a read cache? It's a shame if I can't take advantage of my SSD to do some read caching. (Windows 7 has the same problem as Fancycache, non persistent read caching on rebo...

Re: What the people are asking for + a few others.
ssd's don't maintain very good write speeds on random 4k's, but that's the beauty of this software, it clumps those random writes into one lump write of full write speed, but why bother if your ram can do that for you? There is an obvious benefit in using an ssd for read cache, but not so much a wri...

Re: Persistent Read/Write & more customization
I could do this, but I do want some write caching via Memory. I don't think it makes much sense to ever waste an ssd on write caching (it will wear out it's lifetime that much faster, and the hd only needs enough buffer to reach burst write speeds, and is why I only ever set my write cache to 128MB)...

Persistent Read/Write & more customization
I'd like to see Persistent L2, so would everybody else. However, I would also like to see more customizable options under read/write. I don't desire for my write to be extended to my l2 cache, as the ssd I'm using has a poor write performance (30MB/s). To get around this, I have to run two versions ...

persistent l2 cache across reboots?
is there a feature log that comes with the program so I can tell when the persisten cache has been implemented?
