Using a ramdisk without giving it too much thought can have horrific effects: I placed APPDATA on the RAMDISK. When I shut down my system, it took more than 4 hours (!) to write the SYS file and I decided to hard-reboot. After restart I found out that VSuite didn't contain any configurations anymore...

Initializing a large ramdisk (16GB) takes unreasonably long
When I configure a RAMDISK with disk size 16834MB, as SCSI disk, with an Image file on C-drive and Real-Time save, Direct Mirror (only option) and Quick Load Mode checked it takes 12 minutes for the 16GB disk file to be created. In comparison, just copying the file with Windows takes 60 seconds, and...
