Re: 123 PrimoCache43
1. PCache43 - does not correctly detect "Windows Busy state" - defer wright start to wright to HDD only after "Latency" timer has run out. +1 - I seem to have this same problem if Write Mode is Intelligent or Buffer. Also, it mostly does not write until long after the percentage...

Re: Advice for users about Windows memory compression
Very good, RobF99! Thank you very much!
(By the way, I just bought your DiskTrix Ultimate DeFrag6 and am pondering how best to implement it in my environment.
I'll let you know what I come up with after I look at it a few more days ... Thanks again! )

Re: L1 cache with drives from L2 cache + another
I don't see how to do this.
If my first task caches ssd and hdd to L1, then my second task which would cache hdd to l2 also, cannot add hdd to task because drive is already cached in first task.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance ...

Re: Is there any way to force L2 cache a specific directory?
Thanks for your input, Jaga. Your insights and suggestions regarding cache block sizes have helped me many times and I appreciate it. In this case however, I think the reason given by RobF99, and the main point with which I was agreeing, was this: I feel if we have that capability in the program and...

Re: New Defer-Write Setting
I think the best way of flushing the buffer depends on the machine configuration, the workload, and the user's goals for the software. Because there are so many different combinations of these factors, it is important for the flushing algorithm to be as flexible as possible. I think this is why Rome...

Re: New Defer-Write Setting
Thank you! Yes, I can do that. And in fact I have tried it and it works perfect, but only if the computer has some idle time sometimes. But in the case when the computer is always busy and never idle for long time, then Buffer Mode and Intelligent Mode never flushes the percentage of deferred data t...

New Defer-Write Setting
I would like to request a new behavior for the Write Mode of 'Buffer' and 'Intelligent', so that they could be switchable to work whether or not the computer is idle. The switch would allow Buffer Mode or Intelligent Mode to either work like they do now, or work according to the requested new behavi...
